Description:
The discharge plant produces 187.08 ft3/d of water through the RED system (Reversible Electro Dialysis) becoming the world’s largest installation for reuse of wastewater of these characteristics and the second of WWTP with any type of water. In it, water will be treated from the tertiary of the Baix Llobregat depurator.
The water obtained will be used for agricultural irrigation.
The plant is located on the right bank of the Llobregat River, just south of the municipality of Sant Boi de Llobregat, in the region of the Baix llobregat. (Barcelona).
